"Lightheaded, I have been cured of my illusion.
I'm just numb from fear, but
I had avoided Pandora's box
and I could see the light.
That curious King of Hell surprised Persephone,
but he was no Beast."
Yep, it's official: I love found poetry. They're just so much fun to find! I think this one turned out better than my previous one. At least my design is a little more interesting here. This particular one was found in the same book, Beauty, by Robin McKinley. The idea of found poetry is not my own. I got my idea from other deviants.
If you liked this, let me know! I appreciate any feedback you can offer me.
EDIT: Front page? You guys got me to the FRONT PAGE ASDFGHJKLASDFGJKL I LOVE YOU ALL YOU ARE WONDERFUL AND I FEEL SO LOVED!

Hi, if you don't mind me asking, what book is this from?
AAAHHHH, INCREDIBLE!!! I LOVE THIS!!! INDESCRIBABLE AWESOME LOVE IT AAARRRGGHHH!!!!
Your works inspire me! In the future, I may buy a book just to make found poetry on as many pages as possible. I love it!
Aw, thank you so much! That's great to hear!
If you decide to do that, may I recommend looking in secondhand stores? Sometimes you can find interesting books with lots of good words in places like that. Good luck to you! (:
That's awesome. No other word comes to mind. . .well, besides perfect.
this is beautiful
I never would of thought to do something like that. that's really cool
Love the book, love the poem, love the doodle.
In a way, you can't destroy a book (unless it's an original) - because massive printings save the words elsewhere. And some poetry just begs to be set free.
Really nice, I like the idea. Maybe I'll try something of the sort... thank you
pretty cool idea i love it!
This is a very neat concept, thanks for sharing.
I. LOVE. THIS. PERIOD. WOW.
this is actually really nice
You know what, I've never heard of found poetry. Can you explain this a little more?
Found poetry is sometimes called "blackout" poetry because it involves selecting certain words and phrases from an already-written piece of text. The rest of the text is ignored, or blacked out. It can sometimes be hard to say what you mean because your word choice is limited by what's printed on the page.
It's very fun to write a found poem. I'd definitely recommend it.
Hope that helped you!
Wow! Hey, you should try looking at my poetry and see if you can find anything.
Oh wow. But is it technically plagiarism?
This is pretty dope. Havent seen anything like this since "A Beautiful Mind".
I like doing stuff a little similar to this on newspapers on the bus. Sometimes I leave them on the seat when I leave and wonder if anyone would read it after.
Great work ^^
That's really cool! Now I'm wondering about that...There's something romantic about an anonymous poem left on a bus.
WAY cool! I'll have to give this a go... Thanks for sharing!
