"I thought about the future uneasily.
The shadows cannot see
the gleam of eyes.
I should have welcomed this first impression,
but I still shrank back.
Like the great hunter,
he stood as if waiting for a storm wind
to cover my face."
The book is Beauty by Robin McKinley, yet again. ^^
this design is a little easier to work with but it's harder to make a poem this way and for the love of pete could i possibly be any messier because i honestly don't think so
I also resubmitted this piece because for some reason it wouldn't allow me to access the deviation page. I don't know why. I just took it down and posted it back up so I could see it again.

littlebluereaccoon you are amazing as always.
It's a lovely design~ It doesn't look messy, I like it the way it is. ^_^
I can see how it would make it harder to work with though, best of luck with that.
Ooh, that's good to know. I think my Sharpie was running out of ink at the time, haha.
Thank you very much!
this is amazing..
this is genius
This is a rather unique and exquisite. I truly appreciates its form and message.
This is really lovely. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to find poetry like this, but it turned out beautifully.
Thank you! Sometimes it can be a bit tricky, but it's a fun challenge, almost like a puzzle. c:
This is really amazing... Sad to see a book being destroyed, yet at the same time it's truly amazing what you can do when playing with words.
This is... too amazing to describe with words. Sad, to destroy a book, and yet it I am glad you find these poems and share them with is. Fortunately mass printing has allowed this destructive form of art. You have stunned me yet again.
I really appreciate that! I had my misgivings at first about writing in the book, but I think it's worth it in the end. Thank you so much!
Of all the found poetry out there... this is one of the greats that I've found!
lovely as per usual
omg you're so great at found poetry seriously
